FAQ’s - Booking Holiday Taxis With A Baby

Travelling abroad with a baby for the first time can be daunting, but we are here to answer all your questions you may have when booking holiday taxis with us.

Are you looking to book a holiday taxi from Cambridge to Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick or Luton, but feel wary about booking a taxi because you are travelling with your baby? 

We chauffeur for both business and leisure and have taken families to the airport countless times. Therefore, we are well adversed in knowing all your burning questions about booking a taxi with a child seat before you book.

Do you supply car seats?

Due to our insurance policy, we cannot supply car seats of any sort. However, we are able to use yours. Therefore, if you have a baby or young child travelling with you, you can bring the car seat with you and we will happily travel with the seat securely fixed.

Do you have iso-fix in your vehicles?

Yes, all our vehicles have an iso-fix point so you will easily be able to secure the car seat in the taxi.

Can you look after our car seat?

If you book return holiday taxis with us we can look after your car seat while you are away. We will keep it in a safe location at our office and will ensure it is with the correct chauffeur on your return.

If you would like to leave your car seat with us, please let us know in advance if possible. However, if you cannot, please let the chauffeur know on the journey.

Can you bring my carseat to the airport?

If you booked your return holiday taxis with us and we are looking after you car seat while you are away, we will absolutely make sure your car seat is brought with the correct chauffeur for your journey back.

If you are returning to the UK but we do not have your car seat, we can arrange to pick it up for you from your chosen address at an additional charge. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange this for you.

Do I need to let you know in advance if a baby is travelling?

At the time of booking, we will ask how many passengers are travelling and usually clients will let us know if this includes any children. Although it is not essential for you to let us know in advance, please do if it affects the size of the vehicle you will need.

Will there be enough room for a pram?

All our vehicles have large boots that will be able to fit a pram in easily. If you are booking airport transfers and have large luggage too, please let us know at the time of booking and we will advise what vehicle will suit you best.

For example, our Estates have larger boots than the standard Mercedes E-Class.
